Fitness Studio FAQ

"I have been a member of a gym before.  Can I skip the induction?"

Unfortunately no.  All new members will need to undertake an induction prior to using the facility as we have equipment that is specifically unique to our Studio and thus needs to be fully understood before using.  It also gives us the opportunity to get to know you as a person and understand what your goals are.  Which in turn allows us to help you more effectively.

"I haven't exercised ever, is it too late to start?"

It is never to late to start doing something that will benefit your health and lengthen your life.  As with any major new changes, you just have to take it one step at a time.  Our instructors will be happy to assist you set up a programme that will allow you a structured plan to progress.

"Is Personal Training available and is it something I should have?"

Personal Training is available here at the centre and is indeed an excellent way to push yourself towards your health goals.  Personal Trainers can help people achieve better results from their training by making their workouts more effectively geared towards their own personal goals.  If you are highly motivated then you may not need their services but if you are struggling to get out of training what you seek, then they just might be the answer.

"Which is better to use for fitness, the Dojo or the Fitness Studio?"

This is a great question.  We really recommend you do whatever you enjoy doing the most.  That way you will be motivated to carry on training over the long term and not look to skip sessions any chance you get.  Both are excellent ways to get fit and stay healthy.  In fact, the training they each offer compliments the other perfectly.
