Our Kickboxing Program is split in to three levels

The kickboxing classes teach a wide range of striking techniques.
The Basic Program
Our Basic Adults Kickboxing program is specifically designed to give people with no previous experience or fitness background a starting point to training in martial arts. It is the program we recommend to people who are primarily seeking fitness and who may wish to progress to a black belt level without ever being required to spar. Do not be fooled by its modest name, our Adults Basic program is where you will not only build strong foundations for your future training but where you will also discover your own passion for the martial arts.
Summary
- Concentrate on developing our basic striking skills such as using punches, elbows, knees and kicks and conditioning developing both fitness and strength.
- Kickboxers specialise from day one and train with a wide range of equipment (such as bags, focus pads and thai pads) to progress their knowledge and skill.
- More time spent on developing your component skills such as footwork, defense, clinching, combinations and ringcraft.
- Even though you will not be required to spar unless you want to to, you will learn all there is to know about being a fighter.
- You will be increasingly more proficient with all of your striking skills and able to link them together on each of the different pieces of training equipment used.
- This is our highest level class where sparring is not part of the syllabus and students may stay in it upto black belt and beyond.
- Students at this level will be well placed in terms of fitness and skill to compete if they so wish.
- If not, this will remain an excellent program to remain in to achieve your upmost potential.
- Sparring will also be encouraged regularly within this program in order to hone each individuals skill development.
- We think very highly of our BBM and Masters Kickboxing programs and we make them both challenging enough to stay in upto black belt and beyond.
- The difference between the two lies mainly in intensity of training and the fact that sparring is mandatory within thg Masters Kickboxing classes.
The Black Belt Member Program
Having graduated from the Basic Program, you will be invited to join the BBM program. The BBM program will allow you to see how much there is to learn within our Kickboxing system. We think our BBM Kickboxing program remains so popular year after year because it delivers so much to those who train in it. Not only do you gain a high level of physical fitness and skill but you will also make a lot of friends on the way who will encourage you to reach whatever goals you set yourself.
Summary
The Masters Program
Our top level Kickboxing program is designed to produce excellent technicians of this exciting sport based art form. By this level students will not only be fit, strong and capable of throwing some hard shots, they will also have a massive toolbox of techniques and skills they can draw upon at any time. At this level, we would expect our students to show genuine respect for other people, show compassion and be brave enough to leave their ego at the door in order to assist in everyones development and not just their own.
