Class Details
Our Little Ninjas
class is a specifically designed Freestyle Karate program
for children aged 4-6 years old. This 30 or 45 minute class
is dedicated to bringing out the best in each child taking
part. Our expert instructors have a vast amount of
experience working with children from this age range, and
are well equipped to ensure every child feels successful and
special in their own right. As with the pre-school programme
they will have a fun, high energy session with each class
dedicated to working on mastering a physical skill (e.g.
forward rolls, karate stances and basic techniques), a
mental attribute (e.g. focus, listening and concentrating)
and a character development (e.g. learning right from wrong
and the importance of manners). They will also be encouraged
to try more difficult skills as and when they are ready. The
Little Ninjas program is the perfect way to bolster your
childs development and ensure they have a fun structured
session with other children of a similar age.
Summary
- 30 minutes for Level 1 and 45 minutes for level 2
- They will start wearing a white Gi with a traditional belt and will have to sit special grading exams to acheive their next belt
- They will have a syllabus which they can take home with them and study. This will show them what is required at each grading to achieve their next belt.
- As the gradings are held seperate to the normal classes, we ensure each student is ready to take them by operating a tabbing system.
- In the first week of every month we assess each students attendance and their participation in the class and award tabs accordingly.
